I have lived in the Hudson valley my entire life. Inspired by the painters of the Hudson River School, I always had a camera in hand since a very young age. The beauty, history and lore of the area have been a constant source of inspiration. Our ability, and sometimes failure, to integrate a modern society with this natural beauty has always been at the forefront of what I choose to document.

I have taken photography courses at Purchase College and Rockland Community College. Starting with a darkroom in my basement in the late 80’s I now exclusively shoots with a mirrorless digital camera. For the past 10 years I have actively taken part in the tri state area artist community with many group and solo shows.

I specialize in Portraits, Landscapes, Events and Live performance photography.
